I hold two core beliefs that guide my approach to creating exceptional products.
Firstly, I believe that great products are built and grown by embracing speed. The sooner we release a usable piece of a product, the sooner we can gather feedback to learn if we're aiming for the right goal and direction. Too often, the industry—and especially big tech—moves too slowly, falling into the complacency trap of ideating and polishing for months before the first user experiences a feature. This approach burns heaps of money as we dance around the campfire of self-satisfaction. The harsh reality is that a product or feature means nothing until it encounters its first user. Today, with all the available tools to prototype and reach customers, there's nothing stopping us from obtaining customer validation faster. Product design should be the function that enables or leads this effort.
Secondly, I believe that great products are built in teams. Simple logic tells us that a few brains with complementary knowledge can spot fallacies, errors, uneasy feelings, or opportunities much faster. Working in silos benefits no one. While I applaud solo builders, I've seen the world changed by groups. Cross-functional, cross-group, cross-department, and cross-level collaboration is my way of working. With all the advancements in asynchronous and synchronous design tools, we can align and leverage our collective creativity. Although multiple opinions can create friction and potential speed bumps, we can mitigate most of them with systems, rules, and principles. Product design serves as the perfect agent to create the glue that allows for cross-vertical and cross-horizontal alignment through prototypes, workshops, collective ideation, and more.
The future of tech is neither slow nor lonely. Let's embrace speed and collaboration to build the next generation of groundbreaking products.
- Offer
Who do you typically work with?
I've worked with startups, SMBs, and big tech companies. My experience spans content and knowledge management, productivity, AI, and customer support systems.
- Offer
What types of designs can you realize?
I specialize in building apps for web, desktop, and mobile platforms. I also create product marketing materials like landing pages and documentation, and contribute to promotional material creation. I don't actively work on branding anymore, but I collaborate with brand designers.
- Offer
What makes you different from others?
With over 15 years of experience, I've developed a strong opinion on prioritizing speed, quality, and teamwork in both my work and collaborative approach. Being a doer first, and combining a design background with the ability to code, makes me stand out from the crowd.
- Offer
What roles can you fill in a product team?
I can take on IC roles such as Staff Product Designer, Lead Product Designer, Founding Product Designer, or Senior Product Designer. However, titles matter less to me than accountability and ownership.
- Collaboration
What are your typical design turnaround times?
I can start delivering specs within the first week. It always depends on the team's goals and potential bottlenecks, but I aim to bias the process toward the fastest product validation.
- Collaboration
How does your process look?
I adjust it to fit your timeline and hypotheses. If we need to launch in 2 weeks, we'll prioritize MVP flows and build. If we're preparing for an investor round pitch, we'll focus on painting the vision and building prototypes. If we're tackling a product health issue, we'll start with discovery and definition, etc.
- Collaboration
What tools do you use on a project?
For communication, I'm familiar with Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams.
For project tracking and as a source of truth, I rely on Notion, Coda, or Trello, though Jira and Linear are also in my toolkit.
For collaboration and ideation, I recommend Miro, but FigJam works too. I design in Figma, Rive, and Jitter, and I prototype using both code and no-code solutions.
For code, I use React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Supabase.
For no-code, I have experience with Webflow and Bubble, and I can work with Framer as well.

Can I pause our collaboration?
Yes, you can pause or cancel the collaboration whenever necessary. If you pause, we can resume your project later if my availability allows. If you cancel, there's no return policy— you’ll need to use any available days, and the contract won't renew the next month.
- Payments
What happens when I cancel the collaboration?
As there's no return policy, you'll need to use any available days, and the contract won't renew the next month.
